      Whilst we have no baptismal records for Simon, we do know that he married in 1675, a year after his daughter Dorothy was born. Thus it's likely that he married young, perhaps as young as 15, and probably no later than 21. This implies a birth year of around 1657.

      Death
      There is a burial record for a Simon Pickersgill on 22nd Nov 1687 at Masham. His residence was Swinton. We have no idea if this is the same person.
