    • Early LifeI haven't found any birth or death records for Josiah, though Winters Online records 1706/07 burial information from the Herefordshire Archives.

      The visitation of Shropshire has a Meredith family (of Abertanat) which ends at Hugh Meredith of Oswestre, heir to his father in 1584 (so a couple of generations prior to Josiah, if related).

      Family Life
      He married first Margaret Whetmore in 1684, hence must have been born before 1666 assuming he was of age in 1684. Secondly, he married Anne Whitcott with whom he had at least 4 children, possibly more (see her profile for more details).

      Death
      Winters Online has Josiah dying in 1707 though I can't find the record of this.
