    • William was granted the Kinhilt estate in Wigtownshire in Galloway. Kinhilt was near Lochans. today all that I can find is a Kinhilt Farm nearby. However, there is a Kinhilt Street in Ballymena, reflecting the later centre of activities for the Adairs.
