    • Sarah would most likely have been born between 1685 and 1696 (1686 so she was no older than her husband, 1696 so she was old enough to have a child in 1712). From her husband John Wayne's will, we also know that her father was called John. And finally she was probably born near Bristol as her father's glass business was based in the parish of St Phillips & St Jacob. Unfortunately, there are no surviving baptismal records for anyone matching those parameters, so it's likely that Sarah is a dead-end for the time being.

      In terms of her death, there is one burial record for Sarah Waine, 21 Jun 1757 at Temple Church in Bristol. We have no way of knowing if this is the right person, however.
