Early Life
There's a possibility that
Walter Wingfield was the son of Sir John Wingfield of
Letheringham and Elizabeth FitzLewis. They certainly had a son called Walter (eighth son) and the timing is right, but there's been no explicit proof that they are one and the same person. The link has also been suggested by
Stirnet.

dsp. The
