  • Notes
    • Early Life
John Parsons was the son of Conon Parsons of Kemerton in Gloucestershire, a lawyer, and his wife Elizabeth Wakeman. He was born c. 1586 (but see comments in Death below for some confusion around that date).

      Family Life
John married Elizabeth Copley and had the following children who survived into adulthood:
      1. Grisogon, eldest son, died 1677
      2. John, b. 1629, who married Susan Guy
      3. Mary, who married ___ Spires

      Death
Visitations1 has John dying in 1631 aged "circa 30" but this age conflicts with the information given in Inner Temple2 which indicates that John was born in 1586. Also, we know that John's parents married in 1576, so were unlikely still to be having children by 1600.
