    • Married three times; first Julian Roberts, second Bennet Ashburnham (both without issue) and third Elizabeth Winterborne
      Stirnet shows him born 1386 but I find this unlikely given that his grandson Humphrey was born c. 1500; more likely he was born around 1430. Even more unlikely when we consider that his great-grandfather Sir John Clarke fought at the battle of Poitiers in 1356.
